I Kicked Rice Cereal's Butt!!

Tonight is the night that I kicked Rice Cereal's butt! Go Me! I showed Rice Cereal who's boss, gosh darnit! I conquered Rice Cereal ... At least until next time, at which point I might not like it, but that's my choice, because I'm a baby.

A little eating ...

A little drinking ...

And look at that clean bowl!!

This is the face of success ... and a baby with a mouthful of rice cereal!

Again, the face of success ... and a baby with a full belly!

A Little Bit of Everything!

I'm trying to update my blog at least twice a week ... Maybe on Sundays and Wednesdays ... I don't have anything specific to talk about right now, so I'm just going to share some miscellaneous things ... So enjoy!!

I had my 4-month check-up with Dr. Petelos recently. I passed the waiting time with a little exercise ...

Extreme close-up!

Since I have a little bald spot on the back of my head, Dr. P said I need more tummy time. I think I'm doing really well with tummy time ... What do you think?!

I had lunch with Auntie H at The Galleria on this day, and I was pretty tired when we got home!

Yet another good nap in my crib! I've got good form here, don't ya think? My little bum is up in the air, and I'm sucking my two middle fingers.

Next week, I'll have lots of good material for my blog because I'm being baptized on Sunday, July 1st. All my family will be here to celebrate, and I know Mommy and Daddy will take lots of pictures.

Here's a preview of coming events ... This is me in the christening gown that Mommy and Auntie H wore when they were babies. Unfortunately, we weren't sure it would fit me by the time the big day arrived, plus I'm wearing my christening gown for my 6-month photos, so we decided to get me a new one. It's very pretty, and I can't wait to wear it.

May the Force Be With Me!

Recently, Daddy took me to a gathering of all his Star Wars buddies. They thought I was very cute! I enjoyed spending the afternoon with Daddy.

Yoda & I are ready to go with Daddy!

It's me with an X-Wing Pilot ...

It's me with Princess Leia ...

I also just received two very cool gifts from Uncle Pax's mom and dad, Susan and Ted. They made me these cute, custom, tie-dyed Star Wars t-shirts ... They're so cool! Thank you!!

MAY THE DROOL BE WITH YOU!

I'm 4-months-old!

Last Friday, I turned 4-months-old. I'm growing up! I thought I'd share a fashion show of some recent new clothes that I have been able to wear (including some cute pj's). Like Mommy, like me ... Mommy likes clothes, and that means I get cute new clothes, too!

Rice Cereal?!?!

At 4-months and 4-days, Mommy and Daddy gave me rice cereal (?!). As you can see from the photos and video below ... I'm not too sure about this rice cereal stuff. Where's the bottle and the nipple?! And it's a lot of work, too!

This is the beginning ... In the not-too-bouncy seat ...

I'm really trying to "get with" this cereal stuff ...

It must be good if Mommy is giving it to me, right?! I'm still not sure ...

We decided to try me in Daddy's lap to see if that would work better ...

I guess it's not that much better ...

Mommy and I tried cereal again this morning. It went a little better, but I'm still not too sure. Mommy decided to break out the high chair. It's a big seat for a little girl like me, but I think it's going to work out well.

I'm growing up!

Happy Father's Day!

* Please take a moment to review "Meeting New Friends" posting again ... I met another new friend, and I wanted to include her picture in that posting.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I would like to wish a wonderful day to all the dads in my life: My own Daddy, Granddaddy, Papa Tom, Sandy, Great Uncle Jimmy, and Uncle Bill. I love you all!

Today was Daddy's first Father's Day. I think he had a good day! Mommy had to work in the nursery at church this morning, so Daddy and I went to Sunday School together. Then we all went to have lunch at Zaxby's. After lunch, we went to visit Great Grandmama. We also stopped by a few Wal-Marts along the way. When we got home, I took a nap!

On Friday night, we went over to Papa Tom and Coco's house to celebrate Papa Tom's birthday and Father's Day. We had a fun time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Papa Tom!

Papa Tom and me!
Great Aunt Carmen and me!

My cousin Tristan and me ... He has spikey hair!

Meeting New Friends

Over the past few days, I have met some of Mommy's and Daddy's friends from college. They are very nice, and I think they liked me a lot!

This is Miss Hayley and Miss Joy. I thought I was seeing double!!

This is Aunt Stephanie. I can't wait to meet Uncle Pax.

This is Aunt Stephanie, Mommy and me. Aunt Stephanie and Mommy look alike!

This is Miss Mitzi. She likes to come over and play with me.

The Bumbo Seat

I have this thing called a Bumbo Seat. Mommy says it's to help me learn to sit up. It has a big dip in the seat, and my little bottom sinks down into it. I'm not completely sold on it yet, but I'm getting there.

This was my first time in the Bumbo Seat. Things seem to be OK.

This is my second time in the Bumbo Seat ... Again, things seem OK.
Then it all goes wrong ...
It's not getting any better ... I want outta this contraption!

Daddy is trying to make it better, but it's not working.

This is a few days later, and being able to watch television and grab my feet make the Bumbo Seat much more interesting ...

Then Daddy made the Bumbo Seat into a flying saucer - Pretty cool, huh?!
Daddy is the best!

A Day of Accomplishments!

Today has been a very big day for me! I rolled over for the first time ... From my back to my tummy ... Mommy and Daddy say that I'm gifted ... I guess they're right! Daddy is trying to get this on video for a future post, but I don't yet perform on command, so that will be coming soon ...

This is the first step to rolling over. I have to get the momentum of my legs and diaper-bottom. And this is also my second accomplishment of today: I officially grabbed my feet.

And this is the end result - I'm on my tummy!
Notice the serious facial expression - I have to stay focused to make rolling over happen.

This past weekend, I got to wear a new outfit. Mommy and Daddy bought this in Auburn last football season before I was born.
I like it - War Eagle!
