Back Seat Driver

I've gotten a lot more fonder of the car seat. It takes some getting used to. Heck, you try to ride backwards and see how happy you are until you get adjusted to it.! Anyway, most of the time when we have a family outing Daddy will ride with me in the back seat while mama drives. Daddy is fun. He'll sing and make goofy faces at me. Here's some of my responses:

Sunday School with My Friends

It was "Baby Day" at the Pathfinders Sunday School Class this past Sunday. Pictured below are the new Mommies and Babies from the past year.

(L to R) Mommy & Me, Miss Melissa & Owen, Miss Stephanie & WilliamWilliam is 3 weeks older than me. Isn't he a cutie?
Owen is 8 Months old. He's almost walking! What a hunk!
The boys didn't interest me too much though ... I pretty much slept the whole time.
Later on that day, Daddy & I spent time on our nice screened-in porch. Then I decided to get more shut eye. Like my Mommy, I love my sleep!

Mommy & Me: First Post

In order to mix things up a bit, I wanted to share my day at home with Mommy. My daytime blog posts won't be too lengthy, but they'll be a nice surprise for all my loyal blog viewers during the day.

This morning, I had some "tummy time" on my pretty new quilt from Aunt Stephanie's mom Kathi. It definitely makes tummy time more fun!

After some lunch, it was naptime. Again, I'm loving my new quilt. I'm not a big fan of sleeping in my nice crib at night, but I love my quilt on the couch next to Mommy during the day.

Stuffed Animal Idol PART 1

OK folks ... I need a little help. Previously, I posted pics of some of my new friends ... Some of my stuffed animals. I'm only 8 weeks old, so I haven't decided on who my favorite stuffed animal will be. Maybe you guys can help. Post a comment on who you think should be my "best friend."
Let Round 1 begin ... Here are the contestants:

"Billy" was brought to me by my Uncle Bill and his Family. He's a big bear ... Heck, he's bigger than I am.
PRO: He's plush and lovable.
CON: He might be too big until I'm at least 3 or 4.
"State Farm Bear" was a free gift when Daddy bought insurance. He had a "State Farm" t-shirt on when we got him ... but I ditched the advertising plug.
PRO: Small & lovable ... Just my size.
CON: He's a free gift from an insurance company (probably not the best quality for longevity).
"Yoda" is one of my Daddy's toys that he gave me. We starred in a video together back in February.
Daddy would love me to love Star Wars but is scared if I do I may wanna open up all the toys downstairs.
PRO: Would make Daddy happy.
CON: It's a boy toy ... not girly enough.
"Octi" was a gift from Aunt B. He's a fun toy with a lot of zippers and crinkle sounds and such. He was one of my 1st toys.
PRO: Colorful and a funny smiley face.
CON: He's an octopus, and Mommy really doesn't like those.

I'll make the final decision, but I want your input. Vote today!

BEST/ WORST

We all have our good days and bad days. With the camera, Daddy caught me at my best and at my worst. I'm still cute ... even at my worst.

Reesey Cotton Tail

Happy Easter everyone! I had a great Easter! The Easter Bunny came and brought me some fun goodies! I got all dressed up and sat (slept) through my 1st church service. I wore my pretty dress and sweater that Grandma Mimi bought me.
Here's what my Easter Bunnies brought me.

Later that day, we went to see Grandmama the Great!

I took a pretty picture outside with Mama & Daddy.
Next year, I'll be ready for the EASTER EGG HUNT! Bring it on!

I'm Going to be a BIG SISTER!

Mom and Dad thought I'd like to make the announcement that I'll be a big sister in December!

It's so cool, because I'll have a little brother or sister to push around, plus we'll be born in the same year. Neat-o huh? Mom and Dad love sleepless nights and poopy diapers so much they just want more and more.

If you've gotten over the shock of the announcement, I hope you realize what date this was posted on. I may be a baby, but I have a great sense of humor. I wouldn't want a sibling this soon. I'm the princess and I want to be the center of attention for a long while.

Anyway, today was my 1st trip to church. I got all dressed up in a pretty pink dress!

On the car ride to church I had fun with Daddy in the back seat. I was laughing and smiling back in my own special way.

After church we ate with the Barkleys. I hung out with Owen.
We slept while our parents gib-gabbed.

After a long day I got a refreshing bath.
Then it was off to bed,...still (and thankfully) an only child!
