Special Ornaments on Our Tree

Since I'm here now, we have some new ornaments on our Christmas tree this year. I can't wait for Christmas morning. From what I'm hearing, it'll be pretty exciting!

This is my "baby's 1st Christmas" ornament. Miss Grace gave it to me.
It's a Christopher Radko ornament, and it's a pretty rocking horse.

This cute ornament has a picture of Santa and me.

Momma saw this in a store, and she couldn't resist getting it!

My 1st Christmas Party

Today, Momma and I went to Miss Audrey and Caroline's house for a Christmas party. Miss Audrey made some yummy food (I really liked her corn casserole), we exchanged presents, and we took a group picture. And of course, we played a lot!

Mary Catherine drew my name, and she gave me a play cell phone and a new book.
She also gave me lots of tissue paper, too.

When we got home, Momma wanted to take a picture of me in my green gingham Christmas dress. Who would even think it would be in the 70's two weeks before Christmas where a short-sleeved Christmas dress would even work?!?!

Granddaddy's Retirement Reception

Granddaddy is retiring from Auburn University after 25 years of working there. He is very excited about being retired and being a full-time granddaddy to me! Monday was also Granddaddy's birthday, so it was a very special day!

My New Stocking!

My Christmas stocking arrived in the mail today. It is so wonderful!! Miss Kathi made it. She is Aunt Stephanie's mommy. Aunt Stephanie is a very good friend of Mommy and Daddy. So basically, Miss Kathi is like a grandma, too! She is very talented. She makes quilts and other beautiful things.

My stocking has my name on it. It has a snowman made from furry fabric, to be like snow. He has a carrot nose and a tophat. One of the Christmas trees had a star (button) on top of it. I will definitely have this stocking forever, when I'm old like Mommy and Daddy.

Aubie Claus

Mommy and I went to visit Aubie Claus. Mommy and Daddy talk about Aubie a lot, and they seem to think he's funny and cute. This is the first time I've met Aubie, and I'm not too sure about him.

The Nutcracker

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Atlanta this past weekend to watch cousins Olivia and Sophia in The Nutcracker. Olivia was Clara, and Sophia was a special angel. She stood next to Olivia for most of the performance. Olivia and Sophia were so pretty in their ballet costumes. I didn't get to see the performance because I'm a little too young, but I got to stay home and play with Uncle Bill and cousin Nick.
