High Chair Antics

My top two teeth are trying to come in, so it feels good to do funny things with my tongue. Daddy got it on video today to show you.

I also got to try biter biscuits today, and they were pretty tastey. They were a little messy, too.

Happy Half-Birthday to Me!

Today is my half-birthday - I'm 6-months-old! Halfway to the big 1 in February! I also had my 6-month check-up today. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me because we were able to answer "yes" to all of Dr. Petelos' milestone questions: sitting up unassisted, tranferring things from one hand to the other, reaching out for things, squealing, and rolling over (which I've been doing forever).

I weigh 18 lbs. 7 oz. (90th percentile). I am 26.5 inches long (75th percentile). My head circumference is 16.75 inches (50th percentile). I'm a very healthy girl!

I'm having my 6-month pictures taken on Saturday, so I'll be posting those over the weekend.

Mommy sat me in the high chair this morning while she was gathering our things to go to our playgroup, and I decided it was naptime while I was sitting there. I'm pretty cute, huh?!

I'm a Busy Girl!

I just started eating baby peas this week ... And they're pretty good! This is my last new vegetable to try, and Mommy says that I'm a great eater! :)

Daddy and I like to spend time outside when he gets home from work. He makes me laugh a lot! But I have to say, I really like to look at cars when they come by, too. I'm just takin' it all in!

I really like baths ... Especially bubble baths! I wanted to share my bubble mohawk. Funny!

I Changed My Mind ... Because I'm a Baby and I Can!

So after I kicked rice cereal's butt, I decided that it really wasn't that good after all. So now I'm eating baby oatmeal, and it's pretty good! Mommy has also given me baby sweet potatoes, and they're pretty good, too! I cleaned my bowls! I think baby squash is next ... Yummy!!

I Kicked Rice Cereal's Butt!!

Tonight is the night that I kicked Rice Cereal's butt! Go Me! I showed Rice Cereal who's boss, gosh darnit! I conquered Rice Cereal ... At least until next time, at which point I might not like it, but that's my choice, because I'm a baby.

Rice Cereal?!?!

At 4-months and 4-days, Mommy and Daddy gave me rice cereal (?!). As you can see from the photos and video below ... I'm not too sure about this rice cereal stuff. Where's the bottle and the nipple?! And it's a lot of work, too!

I'm really trying to "get with" this cereal stuff ...

It must be good if Mommy is giving it to me, right?! I'm still not sure ...

We decided to try me in Daddy's lap to see if that would work better ...

I guess it's not that much better ...

Mommy and I tried cereal again this morning. It went a little better, but I'm still not too sure. Mommy decided to break out the high chair. It's a big seat for a little girl like me, but I think it's going to work out well.
