My First Trip to the Zoo

Today, Mommy and I went to the Birmingham Zoo. It was my first trip to the zoo, and I really enjoyed it! I like being outside and riding in my stroller, and I enjoyed seeing the animals, too.

I was napping when we went past the alligators, but Mommy told me all about it. They were in swampy water with icky slime on top. It looks like it's solid and that you can walk on it, but it's really slime on top of water.

The alligator in the slime decided to go up on the ground while we were watching.

I'm still napping ... Mommy thought these birds were very pretty.

I'm awake now ... Genna was being very sweet to me on our ride home.

Mommy bought me a rockin' orange t-shirt at the zoo, too!

What a fun trip to the zoo! I can't wait to go again!

My Labor Day Weekend

Saturday night during and after the Auburn game, I was ready to go! There was so much excitement with the football game that it was so hard to go to bed!

I was biting Mommy's nose!

In addition to a not-so-exciting win during my first Auburn game, my Labor Day weekend continued to be fun. I visited the nursery at church for the first time on Sunday while Daddy went to Sunday school. Auntie H was working with the babies, so it was fun! I napped a good bit of the time. Mommy was working with the crawlers, but I think she peaked at me a couple of times.

On Monday morning, I woke up early. Then Mommy and I rested a little while longer on the couch.


On Monday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy's Sunday school class had a Labor Day picnic at Oak Mountain State Park. All my friends were there, too - Owen, Genna and William. I got to play with William the most. It was fun!

Today is finally the first day of football season, and we're all so excited! I'm wearing a cute new Auburn t-shirt from Auntie H. Mommy, Daddy, Auntie H, Auntie H's boyfriend Keith, and I are watching the Auburn game tonight.
