Happy Half-Birthday to Me!

Today is my half-birthday - I'm 6-months-old! Halfway to the big 1 in February! I also had my 6-month check-up today. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me because we were able to answer "yes" to all of Dr. Petelos' milestone questions: sitting up unassisted, tranferring things from one hand to the other, reaching out for things, squealing, and rolling over (which I've been doing forever).

I weigh 18 lbs. 7 oz. (90th percentile). I am 26.5 inches long (75th percentile). My head circumference is 16.75 inches (50th percentile). I'm a very healthy girl!

I'm having my 6-month pictures taken on Saturday, so I'll be posting those over the weekend.

Mommy sat me in the high chair this morning while she was gathering our things to go to our playgroup, and I decided it was naptime while I was sitting there. I'm pretty cute, huh?!

My First Trip to Auburn

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Auburn today. It really is "The Loveliest Village on the Plains!" We ate lunch with Grandmommy and Granddaddy. (These pictures are on Granddaddy's camera, so I'll share them a little later.) All the new freshmen were moving into their dorms and apartments today, so it was an exciting day on The Plains.

My Friend Owen Turned One!

On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy and I went to my friend Owen's 1st birthday party. This is the first birthday party I've ever been to. Lots of Owen's family and friends were there, and he received lots of fun gifts. His birthday cake was very cute, but Mommy and Daddy didn't give me any. What's up with that?

Grandmommy and Granddaddy Visit

This past Saturday, Grandmommy and Granddaddy came to visit from Auburn. Auntie H came over, too. It was a fun day!

I was getting upset because it was getting close to naptime.

I napped dress-less because I was a little warm.

I'm a Busy Girl!

I just started eating baby peas this week ... And they're pretty good! This is my last new vegetable to try, and Mommy says that I'm a great eater! :)

Daddy and I like to spend time outside when he gets home from work. He makes me laugh a lot! But I have to say, I really like to look at cars when they come by, too. I'm just takin' it all in!
