So I'm having some technical difficulties with my new blog. Daddy's username is almost out of storage, but Mommy has 100% of her storage. So we're trying to create my new blog with Mommy's username. We were hoping to move reesecollier1 over to Mommy's, but when we deleted the blog from Daddy's, it said it wasn't available when Mommy tried to re-create it. So here's the new blog address:

We had a Collier family birthday celebration for Mommy on Saturday at The Bright Star. Great Grandmama, Aunt Carmen, Uncle Jimmy, Auntie H and her boyfriend Keith all came with us. Mommy, Daddy and all Daddy's family love this restaurant. I had some of Mommy's lunch, and it was yummy!

Today is my 11-month birthday - Just one more month till the big 1! Mommy moved our laptop into the guest bedroom so that we could play more together, thus we haven't posted as much on the blog lately. We're going to be better from now on!

Daytrip to Huntsville

On Saturday, Mommy and I went to Huntsville to visit Miss Heather, Mr. Jason, Jack and Carter. It was so great to meet all of them! Mommy and Miss Heather were sorority sisters at Auburn. (Mr. Jason's sister Alicia and Auntie H were also sorority sisters at Auburn.) While we were there, we ate lunch, played a lot, and went to Bridge Street and rode a carousel. This was my first carousel ride, and it was fun!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! It's been a very exciting morning at my house. I woke up around 8:00, usually ready to get a diaper change and have some oatmeal, but today was different! Mommy and I came out to the den, and I saw that Santa came to visit me last night! YAY!!

Today, Momma and I went to Miss Audrey and Caroline's house for a Christmas party. Miss Audrey made some yummy food (I really liked her corn casserole), we exchanged presents, and we took a group picture. And of course, we played a lot!

She also gave me lots of tissue paper, too.

My New Stocking!

My Christmas stocking arrived in the mail today. It is so wonderful!! Miss Kathi made it. She is Aunt Stephanie's mommy. Aunt Stephanie is a very good friend of Mommy and Daddy. So basically, Miss Kathi is like a grandma, too! She is very talented. She makes quilts and other beautiful things.

My stocking has my name on it. It has a snowman made from furry fabric, to be like snow. He has a carrot nose and a tophat. One of the Christmas trees had a star (button) on top of it. I will definitely have this stocking forever, when I'm old like Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Atlanta this past weekend to watch cousins Olivia and Sophia in The Nutcracker. Olivia was Clara, and Sophia was a special angel. She stood next to Olivia for most of the performance. Olivia and Sophia were so pretty in their ballet costumes. I didn't get to see the performance because I'm a little too young, but I got to stay home and play with Uncle Bill and cousin Nick.

A New Baby

Mommy, Daddy and I left for our Thanksgiving trip on Tuesday. Our first stop was Jacksonville, FL, to visit Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Paxton. Mommy and Daddy said that I was an "exemplary traveler" because I did so well on our 9-hour car trip.

Bulldogs Ruled Today

Our Auburn Tigers lost to the Georgia Bulldogs today, and it stinks! But we all still enjoyed watching the game together, and we still love our Auburn Tigers. War Eagle! Auntie H and her boyfriend Keith came over to watch the game with us. Auntie H got her hair done on Friday, and it looks really good!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Riverchase Galleria tonight, and guess who I met?? I met SANTA!! He was very nice. Mommy knows him from when she used to work for The Galleria. We were taking the elevator from the 2nd floor down to the 1st floor, but it ended up going up to the 3rd floor where the office tower is. Santa was waiting up there until it was time for him to come down for his part of the show. So we were able to meet him, and it was very cool! I'm going to go visit with him next week and get my picture taken, too.

My New Car Seat

I got a brand new car seat. I'm a growing girl, and I needed a little more room than my first car seat had. It's dark denim, and it's so cool! And comfy, too! Now, I'm sitting behind the driver's seat, and I can see a lot more out the windows.

Like I said, this new car seat is very comfy - I was asleep after 10 minutes of riding!

Mommy has strep throat (yucky!), so Daddy stayed home today to take care of me while Mommy rests and gets past her contagious stage. It's so wonderful having Daddy home all day long. He loves to sit on the floor and play with me, and we nap together, too.

The Pumpkin Patch

I've been practicing for a couple of weeks now. Mommy and Daddy have noted the first official day as September 26th. But we've waited till I could do it well to unveil it to everyone. Daddy said that I looked like a wounded duck sometimes, and sometimes like a military guy crawling with his arms only. Check it out!

I'm crawling all over the place these days. And I'm pulling up on everything, and even starting to "cruise" a little bit. Mommy misses the stage where I just sit and I'm in the same place if she leaves the room and comes back ... It went by so fast!!

Tastes Like Chicken

I had baby meat for the first time tonight. It was chicken. All I can say is that the jury is still out on whether it's good or not ... And you'll be able to see that after you watch this video. Fortunately, Mommy also gave me apple sweet potatoes tonight, and those were yummy! Hopefully the baby ham, turkey, and beef will be better ... ?!?!

Scarecrows in the Gardens

Today, Mommy and I went to Aldridge Gardens in Hoover to look at all their scarecrows. The scarecrows were created by different business, and they were displayed around the Gardens. Today was cool and crisp outside, and it was nice riding in my stroller and looking at all the pretty trees, flowers, and the lake.

I also wore a cute new outfit for our outing to Aldridge Gardens. It's cute red gingham ... Sort of country for the scarecrows. :)

My shirt has a glittery orange jack-o-lantern Mommy got pictures of me in my new outfit along with my special Halloween bucket from Papa Tom and CoCo. It has a cute little Beanie Baby Halloween Cat, a first Halloween bib, and a little book called Candy Corn.

First Playgroup at My House

This morning Mommy and I hosted our first playgroup at our house. I think everything went well. My friends seemed to enjoy playing with my toys, and we all ate lunch together, too. It was a wonderful morning!

Playring - Round 2

I've been working hard on pulling-up on my playring, and today I climbed over it! Well, it was more like I sort of slid/fell over it, but I was OK. It's all about learning how to balance and learning what all my body can do!

I really want to see what's inside my toy box, but it's farther away than it looks in this picture.

I might have to dive for it!

A little while later, I decide to take the plunge and dive out of the playring. It didn't hurt a bit!

Now I'd like to pull up on my toy box, but it's not quite heavy enough for that. And I'm not quite strong enough yet to pull up on something at this height.

Spaghetti Dinner at Papa Tom and CoCo's House

On Friday night, Mommy, Daddy and I went to Papa Tom and CoCo's house for spaghetti dinner. Unfortunately, no spaghetti for me yet, but it was fun playing with Papa Tom and CoCo.

This high chair was CoCo's when she was a little girl, then it was Uncle Shannon's and Aunt Melissa's when they were little.

A Week with Grandmommy and Granddaddy

Grandmommy and Granddaddy spent the week at our house, and it was so much fun! I love having more people to play with! Mommy and I look forward to their next visit!

After breakfast, Grandmommy rubbed my belly, and it was so great that I fell asleep almost standing up!

Grandmommy and Granddaddy are visiting - I love when they visit! We all went to eat at California Pizza Kitchen on Sunday night. Daddy gave me a lemon to taste. I made a funny face ... Then continued sucking the lemon! Mommy and Daddy couldn't tell if I liked it, or if I didn't!

Sweet tea is yummy, too. I'm a true Southerner!
